Maja Gudelj

Maja Gudelj is the Croatia Specialist and she also works on Travel Industry Relations at Olive Tree Escapes. A native of Split, Croatia, Maja grew up sailing around the coast with her parents and at the age of 17, she started working on a private yacht alongside her father. She believes Croatia is one of the most beautiful coasts in the Mediterranean in combination with interesting history and excellent food and wine, a gem yet to be discovered. Maja has a degree in Operations Management and International Relations from Stony Brook University, where she arrived from Croatia on a swimming scholarship. She is based in New York City, but travels to Croatia about 3-4 times per year, as her entire family still lives in Split.
