Klis Fortress: The City of Mereen
Enter the reign of Daenerys Targaryen, the mother of dragons. The fortress of Klis is located just a few miles from Split. With its breathtaking view, it’s just the right place for our beautiful queen.
Diocletian’s Palace: The Dragons’ Dungeon
This landmark in Split is where the “kill the master” scene takes place in Season 4. It was also used for Daenerys’ throne room and the dungeon where she kept her dragons.
Lokrum Island, The City of Qarth
The island of Lokrum was a stand-in for the city of Qarth near the Jade Sea, which Daenerys visits all the way back in Season 2.
St. James Cathedral, Sibenik, The Iron Bank of Braavos
The historic city of Sibenik was also used in the show, with St. James Cathedral featured as the Iron Bank of Braavos.
